Asia's largest lighting event will soon illuminate Hong Kong, with approximately 3,000 exhibitors from around the world charting a new course for the industry.

The 27th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), Asia's premier lighting industry event, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 27th to 30th, 2025. Concurrently, the 10th Hong Kong International Outdoor & Tech Lighting Expo will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo from October 28th to 31st.

These two major exhibitions, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, are themed "Creative Design Illuminates the Future" and will bring together 3,000 exhibitors from approximately 20 countries and regions around the world to create an international lighting sourcing platform with unlimited business opportunities.

01 Exhibition Scale

As a prominent event in the Asian lighting industry, the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) has always been a bellwether for industry development.

This year's grand exhibition, held in conjunction with the Hong Kong International Outdoor & Tech Lighting Expo, is expected to attract tens of thousands of industry buyers, designers, and manufacturers from around the world.

The two pavilions complement each other, covering the entire supply chain from indoor decorative lighting to outdoor technical lighting, providing visitors with a one-stop shopping experience.

From October 20th to November 7th, the "Seller&Buyer" intelligent matching platform will provide comprehensive negotiation services for global merchants, breaking the constraints of time and space.

The "Connected Lighting Pavilion," the highlight of this year's Autumn Lighting Fair, will return with great fanfare, showcasing approximately 60 top global brands.

Renowned companies including GRE Alpha in China, Foshan Lighting and Tuya Smart in mainland China, Casambi in Finland, Moorgen in Germany, Koizumi in Japan, and Signify in the Netherlands will all make a splash.

Another highlight of the show, the "Luminaire Gallery" will showcase high-quality lighting products from approximately 540 renowned brands.

These include industry leaders such as Hong Kong's Youchang Group and General Lighting, mainland China's Lidaxin, Debang Lighting, and Je Woo, Finland's Lival, and Germany's MEGAMAN.

The diverse exhibition areas, including "Commercial Lighting," "Residential Lighting," "LED Lighting," "LED Lighting Components," and "Testing and Certification Services," cater to the specialized needs of diverse buyers.

03 Innovative Products

Global exhibitors will showcase a variety of innovative designs and technologies, showcasing future trends in the lighting industry.

The "Fluorite" lamp from mainland China, Bweetech, won a MUSE Design Award. Inspired by aircraft windows, it utilizes a two-color molding process to create a firefly-like glow.

The lamp can be controlled via an app, providing flicker-free light and creating a personalized, comfortable atmosphere.

The "Filmbase Flying Screen" developed by Yuguang Technology successfully broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest LED mesh flying screen.

The company will also showcase its independently developed "3D display glass," which can transform static building facades into 3D dynamic, high-definition, transparent displays at a quarter of the energy consumption of traditional displays.

In the smart lighting sector, LEITE will showcase new products including the LF series linear smart power supply, high and low voltage waterproof controllers, and the K series smart control module.

The K series smart control module, which is UL certified, easily transforms traditional reset switches into smart switches.

04 Scene Experience

This exhibition places special emphasis on immersive experiences, allowing buyers to experience the practical effects of smart lighting firsthand.

The boutique coffee space, curated by Casambi and presented by world-renowned architectural and commercial lighting brand ERCO, seamlessly integrates digital lighting with real-world scenarios.

Richard Lu, lighting designer for the Sanxingdui Museum in Sichuan, Luis Barahona, senior designer at ERCO, and Eugenia Cheng, founder of LightOrigin Studio, will host a sharing session.

Tuya Smart will create different scenes, such as living rooms and bedrooms, showcasing artificial intelligence through light and shadow, showcasing the various technologies and lighting effects offered by its smart lighting solutions.

Foshan Lighting is catering to the needs of the senior market by launching an "eye-protection ceiling lamp" specifically for seniors. This lamp features health monitoring and safety alerts in various living spaces, including bedrooms and bathrooms.

The concurrent Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Lighting Expo will showcase innovative solutions driving smart city development.

The "Smart Light Poles and Solutions" exhibition area, newly added last year, returns with great success.

Shenzhen exhibitor Unilumin Technology will showcase multifunctional smart light poles that integrate multiple public services, including lighting, Wi-Fi, new energy vehicle charging, and environmental monitoring.

These innovative products reduce redundant construction costs while enabling data sharing and efficient urban management.

The "Growth Lighting" exhibition area will showcase advanced horticultural lighting technologies suitable for outdoor parks and home gardens.

The "Outdoor and Public Lighting" exhibition area will showcase lighting designed for outdoor public spaces and advertising.

06 Professional Forum

A series of seminars, product launches, and networking events will be held during both lighting shows to promote industry knowledge sharing and technical exchange.

The "Innovative Lighting Design Forum" will be held at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 27.

The forums are themed "Urban Design · Designing Cities: Lighting Design Inseparable from Life" and "Lighting Design Embodying Culture, Shining Opportunities in the RCEP Region."

Representatives from renowned international and local companies and lighting designers will share top design cases from various regions and provide in-depth analysis of the latest industry trends.

The "Connected Lighting Forum" will be held on October 28, exploring the two key topics of smart living ecosystems and sustainable lighting development.

AWE will also host the "Lighting Cycle: Outdoor Lighting Design Towards a Sustainable Future" seminar, discussing how outdoor lighting can incorporate sustainable development concepts.

Visitors can use the "Scan Code" function within the HKTDC Marketplace app to scan exhibitors' unique QR codes, save their favorite booths and products, access detailed product information in real time, and continue discussions with exhibitors after the show.
